Removing a candidate from a role doesn't delete anything. It clears them from that role's active pipeline, but every session, note, and screening result stays on record — nothing about their history with that role is lost.
On the role page, a "Show removed" disclosure lets you see who's been removed and when, along with how many screening attempts they had, without cluttering the main candidate list with people no longer being considered.
Adding the same person back to that role later starts a genuinely fresh assignment — a clean "to screen" status with zero attempts, not a reopened version of the old one. Their prior attempts on that role stay visible for reference, just filed under the earlier assignment period rather than the new one.
A candidate's own profile page has a Roles & attempts section showing every role they've ever been assigned to, across every company client or department, including roles they were later removed from and any they've since been re-added to — the full history in one place, not scattered across individual role pages.
